Our client, a respected leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to provide dedicated support to their Engineering Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in customer support within a technical or manufacturing environment, particularly in companies dealing with small or tangible components.

Job Overview:

The Customer Service Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for both national and international customers, supporting product-related inquiries and technical concerns. This position is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication between engineering teams and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level customer service support to the engineering department

  • Handle phone and email inquiries related to product issues

  • Troubleshoot customer concerns and identify technical problems

  • Address warranty-related questions and process replacement orders

  • Submit and track orders for replacement parts or products

  • Assess technical issues and escalate appropriately to the correct team

  • Communicate with both domestic and international customers

Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a customer service role within a similar industry

  • Background in small component or tangible part manufacturing companies

  • Strong phone communication skills and a professional demeanor

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Training:
Basic training will be provided on-site, including company systems and tools. However, prior experience in a similar customer-facing technical support role is required.
